La Faye (Mainsat)

We met Sy. and X. on our very first night in Creuse, around the fire at S.'s place. We then visited them in La Faye after a week spent at Ropato (S.'s field with the river), after the various visits to the dear and welcoming P., baker of some delicious bread and brioche (which we lucklu kept on meeting all along the first part of our trip!). As we arrived with the bikes, Sy. and X. welcomed us with homemade cider and strawberry syrup, with fresh tomatoes and a sweet smile. They showed us the house and the tools that they have been making themselves in order to work the land and the constructions. It was a cozy dinner and it felt heartwarming to get all the care and love from the people we were meeting which, one after the other, were offering us a warm welcoming in the region.
